Sunday comics

We think student evaluations are worthless, right?

I used to think that.  Now, I see some usefulness in them.

For instance, if you make a YouTube video of faculty reading their evaluations, it can be pretty funny.

And some more.

And more.

I keep finding these.

Other than that, they make good kindling.

  1. Some professors are better actors than others, but since both good acting and bad acting (and good attempts at bad acting and bad attempts at good acting) work pretty well with this material, the result is, indeed, pretty funny.

    I especially liked the description of one professor as "frustratingly nice." I think that might describe me sometimes (no, I'm not going to be mean about a student not doing the work, but I am going to insist, nicely, that the student do the work).
